Amrit Saxena is the Founder & CEO of SaxeCap, serving as a senior advisor to 30+ PE funds globally, having led 100+ AI transformations globally, and sitting on the Board of Directors of The Princeton Review and Foundant Technologies. Prior to SaxeCap, Amrit successfully founded & sold two AI companies (Fancy That to Palantir, Stella to PE funds). Amrit is also an active angel investor in data, AI, and enterprise software companies in the Silicon Valley, investing in 300+ early stage technology companies, private businesses, and PE/VC funds, including AI pioneers like Anthropic, OpenAI, FigureAI, Groq, HuggingFace, etc.. Amrit received his B.S. in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence and M.S. in Management Science & Engineering with a concentration in Operations Research, both from Stanford University with Distinction.

J. Taylor Crandall is a General Partner at SaxeCap.  Previously, J. served as the Chairman and founding member of Oak Hill Capital, a top tier PE firm with more than $16B of AUM. J. has 30+ years of experience running PE firms and executing buyouts and has served on dozens of company boards. J. received his BA from Bowdoin College.

Vinny Chakradhar is a Principal at SaxeCap. Vinny previously worked at Blackstone focused on data science, AI / ML, and advanced analytics within the private equity investment process and portfolio. Prior to that, he developed commercial and AI / ML strategy at Oliver Wyman for financial services, technology, aviation, and hospitality businesses. Vinny holds a B.S. and M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence from MIT and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Austin Ray is a Tech Lead at SaxeCap.  Previously, Austin served in data science and engineering leadership roles at Stella, Mulesoft, and Emerald Therapeutics. Austin received his BS in Chemical Engineering and MS in Computer Science with a concentration in AI from Stanford University, receiving the Terman Award at Stanford.

Manish Raghavan is a Fellow at SaxeCap. Additionally, he serves as an Assistant Professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management in the Information Technology group and the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Previously, Manish was a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard Center for Research on Computation and Society (CRCS). He completed his PhD in Computer Science at Cornell University. Manish received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.

Alex Kassan is a Senior Advisor at SaxeCap. Alex Kassan most recently co-founded Pattern Ventures, a specialist venture capital fund of funds focused on small and exceptional early-stage funds.  Prior to Pattern, Alex was a Managing Director at Anchorage Capital Group, where he launched and led the venture and growth investment strategy across various sectors. Prior to Anchorage, Alex held principal investing roles with Advance Publications, Dune Capital Management and Cerberus Capital Management.  Alex received his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
